🎓 Airline Pilot Training Pathway
Step by step Roadmap in captessar:
1. Ground Training (DGCA course)
Before being taken to the sky, every aspiring pilot should master the theoretical foundation of aviation. Captain provides classrooms and hybrid courses that covers:
- Air Navigation
- Air Regulations
- Aviation Meteorology
- Technical General & Technical Specific
- Radio Telephony (RTR-A)
These classes are taught by DGCA-certified trainers using interactive whiteboards, CBT (computer-based training), audio-visual AIDS and printed study materials.
2. Preparation of cadet pilot program
For the purpose of entering airline-specific cadet programs, Captessar provides a comprehensive preparation module which includes:
- Psychometric and aptitude tests
- Multi-Tasking Exercises
- Compass / Pilapt Test Simulations
- Group Discussions & Interview
- English Proficiency & CRM Training
These are important for cracking the airline entrance examinations conducted by IndiGo, Air India, Qatar Airways and Emirates.
3. Flight simulator training
The Captain provides realistic simulator training to enhance students’ flight skills before real flight school training. Benefits include:
- Familiarization with cockpit controls
- IFR & VFR Navigation Drills
- Emergency Procedures
- Night Flying Orientation
Simulator training is paired with DGCA’s flying syli and prepares students for real -world flight.
4. Flying Training (with partner FTO)
While Captessar does not operate his own flying school, it has a tie-up and advisory support with DGCA-approved flying training organizations (FTO) in India and abroad.
Students can choose their commercial pilot license (CPL) to complete hours of flying in reputed academies:
