At CaptEssar Aviation Academy, we offer a detailed PPL counselling session designed to guide aspiring pilots through every step of the journey toward private flying.

What is a PPL?

The PPL is your introduction to the world of aviation. It allows you to fly light aircraft for non-commercial purposes. Whether flying is your hobby, a way to travel independently, or a stepping stone to commercial aviation, the PPL opens exciting doors to the skies.

Session Highlights:

• Eligibility: Minimum 16 years for admission, 17 years for license issue
• Minimum education: 10th standard completed
• Medical: DGCA Class 2 medical clearance required
• Ground school: Air navigation, regulations, meteorology, and more
• Flying training: Cessna 152/172 aircraft with dual and solo hours
• Minimum 40–50 flight hours including General Flying Test (Check Ride)
• Written exams + skill tests as per DGCA norms
