What is Cadet Pilot Programme?
It is a programme designed for young aspirants eyeing for a seat in the cockpit of an aircraft.Cadet Pilot Programme involves training the candidate until she/he can be employed as a ‘First Officer’ with concerned Airlines. It is normally designed for individuals with no previous flying experience who would like to embark on a career as a pilot.

What is the Eligibility Criteria for Cadet Pilot Programme?
- Spicejet
- Age between 17 and 35 years
- Indian national or holding an OCI card.
- Achieved a minimum score of 60% (or Grade Point 6) each in Physics, Mathematics & English in (10+2) exam
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
- Good physical condition with appropriate weight and height
- Minimum height required is 158 cm
- Indigo
- Be of Indian nationality, or hold an overseas citizenship of India
- Be eligible to hold a visa for USA for the purpose of study
- Possess a valid Indian Class 1 medical certificate (No Limitations)**
- Possess a valid Class 2 / 1 medical certificate (FAA – USA)
- Be in good physical condition with appropriate weight and height
- Be fluent in English – both written and verbal
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the IndiGo programme:
- Minimum age: 18 years at the time of the 1st attempt
- Maximum age: 32 years at the time of the 1st attempt
- Minimum education qualification: 10+2 with minimum score of 51% / Grade Point 6 / Grade C1 – individually in each subject i.e. Physics / Mathematics / English or a higher degree in these subjects with minimum of 51%.*

- An Indian national or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI),
- Should have passed a 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 60% in English, Physics and Mathematics, aggregate and individually, and
- Should Ability to hold a Class I & II unrestricted medical certifications.
Admission procedure for Cadet Pilot Programme?
Indigo
Stage 1: Online Assessment test – CAE Aircrew Selection System (CASS)
This assessment day will cover:
- Computer-based testing
- Pilot aptitude, including hand/eye co-ordination motor skills and spatial awareness
- Academic, mathematical and technical capacity
- A multiple choice test of technical reasoning
- A dynamic multi-task test
Stage 2: Group activity
Stage 3: Personal interview
Spicejet
The ‘Testing Tools’ used are:
- Online COMPASS test software (Computerised Pilot Aptitude Screening System).
- CCT (Complex Control Task)
- Computer-based Psychometric Exam
Assessment and selection process
- A candidate will progress to the next Phase only on passing the first Phase
- The first three Phases (1, 2 and 3) will be typically completed in a day
- The fourth and final Phase will be conducted within a week after the first three Phases
- First three Phases will be Computer-based-test
- The fourth and final Phase will comprise of a personal interview
- Candidates will not be allowed to use calculators or mobile phones during any of the Phases
- Final results will be declared within a week from the fourth and final Phase

Duration: 13 months
The curriculum of the Cadet Pilot Programme is divided into 3 phases:
- Phase 1: CPL IR (Single Engine)
- Phase 2: Type Rating (Q400 or B737)
- Phase 3: SpiceJet Airline Pilot Induction Training
Indigo
Duration:17 months
Phase 1: Ground Theory & Flight Training
This phase provides cadets with the training required to obtain a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) and to complete the required Multi-Engine piloting experience.
Phase 2: Type Rating
Once the cadets have obtained their CPL, they move on to the Type Rating (TR) training phase to qualify as a co-pilot on the Airbus A320 aircraft.

We are looking for U.A.E. Nationals to become pilots with Emirates. You will be trained to the highest standard and fly one of the most modern fleets in the sky.
Traning:
The training duration is approximately four years and is divided into three main phases:
First phase (Foundation Programme): takes place in Dubai at Emirates Training College. Duration of this programme will be 36-75 weeks and will include English and Aviation English and Aviation Science courses, depending on the trainees English language abilities.
Second Phase (Flight Training Programme): takes place outside the UAE (Spain) for 18 months. This phase will provide approximately 223 hours of flight experience to trainees, and give them a course completion certificate and a Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
Third Phase: takes place in Dubai. Upon completion of this phase, trainees are ready to fly large jet aircrafts.
