CPL stands for Commercial Pilot Licence. Commercial Pilot Licence is a type of pilot licence that permits the holder to fly an aircraft for remuneration.

Can I fly airbus 320 or Boeing 737 as captain with CPL?
A CPL holder can fly as PIC an aircraft not exceeding 5700 kg. Though you can fly above mentioned aircrafts as Co-pilot.

Can I fly twin engine aircraft under CPL training?
yes if that particular aircraft is endorsed in your SPL or PPL.

Can I get a job as pilot in airlines with CPL?
off course. To get a job as pilot in an airlines, a CPL or ATPL is required.

yes if your eye sight with glasses or contact lenses is 6/6.

I don’t have Physics and Maths in 10+2, can I join CPL training?
yes. If you were not a student of Science (Physics & Maths) stream then you need to clear Physics and Maths from open school (NIOS). Once you clear Physics and Maths you can request DGCA for upgradation of your Computer number to CPL.

I am 50 years old, can I become a Commercial Pilot?
The upper age limit for Commercial Pilot is 65 years. So age of 30/40/50 years is not a barrier in your course.

10. Is there any education loan available for CPL training?
CPL training comes under higher education. So you can approach any national or private bank for loan purpose.

Can I get CPL without type rating?
Yes, no Multi-engine/type rating is required to get CPL. Minimum requirement of CPL is 200 hours with or without multi-engine hours.

I am from Commerce/Arts stream, can I join CPL course?
yes. If you were not a student of Science (Physics & Maths) stream in 10+2, you need to clear Physics and Maths from open school (NIOS).

What is the duration of CPL ground classes at Captessar Aviation?
Normally 5 months including RTR (A).

How many DGCA papers need to be cleared to get CPL?
Six papers including Signal examination.

What is the best procedure for getting CPL?
A Pilot aspirant should first clear his Medical examination and Ground training. Then only he should go for Flying Training.

How much money do I need to get CPL?
Normally the money needed for CPL is between 24 and 28 lakhs. You need extra amount of Rs 5 lakhs to finish your Multi-engine rating.
